There\u2019s nothing like sitting on the floor in the hallway after a long day, talking and laughing with people I love.<\/em><br \/>\n\u2014 Annabelle Stoker<br \/>\nManhattan Beach, California<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/465217534\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>A Family at School<\/h2>\n<p>As members of Milton\u2019s century-old boarding program, a diverse group of students from 26 states and 31 countries live in nine residential \u201chouses\u201d\u2014including Academy House, an all-gender house\u2014that are family style and intimate. Lots of fun is had, and lifelong friendships are formed in Milton\u2019s houses, rich with tradition and personality.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Why You\u2019ll Love Living at Milton<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Family style is best: Milton houses include all four grades, and students live in the same house for their entire time at Milton.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Faculty families\u2014complete with children and pets\u2014are connected to every house. Each house faculty member serves as academic and personal advisor.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Living with older and younger house \u201csiblings\u201d gives students role models, personal and academic support, and a sense of belonging.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">New student orientation helps students get to know each other and appreciate cultural differences. It also offers guidance on time management, technology, and campus resources.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">The student to residential faculty ratio is 4:1.
